| Hi all, I knew to Pack (move) DASD dataset from REGOJF(Production data) to DEVPLEX systems. I couldn't Pack the Tape datsets from REGOJF to DEVPLEX Systems. Can any of you help with a solution for this ? Or tell me what needs to be done to move the Tape dataset of REGOJF to DASD of REGOJF, so i can pack it successfully to DEVPLEX system. |

| You are using terms that are site specific. Have you talked to your site support group about how to accomplish this? |

Yes I had already spoke, they are currently working regarding this. Mean while i just wanted to post here and look for some solution. I think since this is site specific i cann't expect the reply. Lemme See !

Would I be correct in assuming that you want to make available on the dev LPAR a tape which has been created on the prod LPAR.
Please define what PACK involves.
Are you using a shared tape library.
Is the alias available on both LPARS
As you can see, these are only a couple of the many questions that need to be asked to get any useful information from you. We need information to be able to help, and if you do not state your problem clearly and with enough information for us to help, you will either be ignored or will have to play 20 questions with the responders.
Have a think about the information that you would need to resolve this, and then maybe retry your post here. |
