Hi,
I have a numeric field with definition:

01 WS-VARS
05 WS-FIELD1 PIC S9(8) COMP-3.

This field contains date in the format yyyymmdd.

This field is stored in a sequential dataset.

I have gone through various date manipulations related to the current date. However, My requirement is to decrease the date in that column of the dataset by 1 day in the output dataset.

Is it possible to achieve this using syncsort ??

Rakesh.

Hello,

So far (as far as i know) sort products do not "do" date arithmetic on data fields.
