Hi
I have a doubt regarding my system designe..
We have the system where it uses same CICS region
Front End --->Prog A( CICS1) --link Prog B(cics1)--- link Prog C (CICS1)
----link Prog D(cics1) -----LU 6.2 ---Backend system
My doubt is i am using same region CICS1 with differnt programs ...in which catagory this type of design will include
Is it an MRO with DPL & DTP?
Thanks

LU6.2 is APPC and not MRO. MRO requires multiple CICS regions that are connected via XCF and typically there's a TOR (terminal owning region) and AOR (application owning region); there may be other owning regions as well. |

We have no TOR but have AOR & FOR s
My doubt is the link between programs in my region ( i am removing FE & BE)
---prog A( CICS1 ( AOR) --link Prog B( CICS1 (AOR)
CICS2( FOR) CICS2 (FOR)
This kind of communication what will it comes under |

Let me clarify my doubt
Is it possible the local and remote region being the same
here i am having only three regions ( CICS1 whichi s AOR and CICS2/3 which are FOR) and my most programs are defined in this regions
These programs are for formating the input and pass to another backend systems.
SO what happens is my proga & progB & ProgC which is in the same regions links...
What kind of design is this |
