IBM Tivoli Advanced Audit for DFSMShsm Version 2.1.0
IBM Tivoli Advanced Backup and Recovery for z/OS Version 2.1.0
IBM Tivoli Advanced Reporting for DFSMShsmMonitoring Version 2.1.0
I am looking at several reports and suggested actions from this set of tool. I should be able to find manuals online, but I am interested in any gothca's there might be out there. I really don't want to read up on them because I am not running them, they are being ran in brazil and I expect the first time. I am being asked to sign off on suggestion by the reports..seems harmless, but then a lot of dangerous things seem harmless. Appreciate any input or tips...Thanks! |

Hello,
If you post the "observations" of interest and the "suggestions", someone with experience with these may have somthing to offer. . .
Fake the values that would give away any proprietary/confidential information. |

My only problems were encountered running DFhsm audits using FIX. It is only safe to do so if there is NO other HSM activity.
As a rule I always use NOFIX and then verify the recommended actions before performing them. |
