LBV is specific to your shop so it is good if you ask about this to someone, at your shop.
However, as you said, LBV stands for Load module Batch, Vendor; looks like it's a "vendor supplied load module(that is, source is not available to programmers)"; if it is so - you need to get in contact with your Change-Man admins to get that load module staged in other package.
If you have the source code of that component, stage the source-code into your other package and you'll have the load module with you once you complie/link-edit the componet using the standard way the change-man provides. |

Participating packages are mapped to a Super-pacakge, but they are mutually exclusive -they don't "talk" to each other. They are made participating to a single package, because who have desigend these tools they might have thought that when someone installs something in production, they install "a single application" and they don't really install "parts of it".
Once you get it staged, in your other pacakge - you might need to delete it later - because you can not have "two different versions" of same component at the time of installation - it might sound as an annoying quirk but then only suggestion at this moment is, please follow up with your peers on this. Such things differ shop to shop. |
