Hi All,
I want to know if there is any way to capture the IP address of the user login. the ip address of the system from where the user is connecting to the mainframe.
That information is not captured in the system log. Can it be captured using SMF?
Regards,
Srinivas |

Are you talking about someone connecting via 3270 telnet session? Unix REXEC to the mainframe? FTP? SMTP? |

SMF type 118 and / or 119 records -- depending upon what you're looking for. They are documented in the appendices of the manual Communications Server: IP Configuration Reference, not in the System Management Facility manual. |
