SQL1096N Error - When creating the database

I am working on the tool - Where i am creating the database using the command
CREATE DATABASE Databasename;
But i am getting the following error

SQL1096N The command is not valid for this node type.

Please assit me if any one has clue about this error.

You need to provide much more information. . .

What is "the tool"? Where did you see the message you posted?

Which platform are you usng?
