Every time session need to install in cics

I have defined a connection with the CICS and also I have defined a LU6 connection on a same group aabbcc. I have also installed the connection and session though using CEDA IN SESSION Command. The problem is when ever the CICS restarted we require installing other wise the session is not working.

Can any one let me know how to come over from the above issue? I mean when ever CICS restart the Connection and Session should automatically install.

Maybe you can solve that with the AUTOCONNECT option.

Have you added the group to the startup list?

Hi,
Thanks for your response.

I have all ready defined the autoconnect YES in operation properties.
and also i have added into start up list using CEDA INSTALL SESSION.

How to check the group is added into start-up list or not?

CEDA INSTALL does not add the group to the startup list - it just installs in the current execution.

Use CEDA EX LIST(listname) to see what groups are in the startup list. Use CEDA ADD GR(groupname) LIST(listname) to add the group to the list.

Garry.

And you can look at the job output of the CICS region start up to see which lists are being used [the GRPLIST=(???,???) parameter].
