Hi All,
I want syncsort step in JCL which sorts some fields in the records and it should include 1st record in that file and it should also include some rows based on the condition.

Hi..

Let me know the file u r intended to sort is having header populated?

If yes. we can very well do that using DFSORT utility....

You can have two options

1. In a SYNCSORT using INCLUDE cond you can add additional COND for header recd to be included in the outfuile along with your regular sort conds.

2. U can use DFSORT UTILITY..refer this link
