Hi,
From long I was living with a notion that JES2 system allocate resources/DSN's pre step. However, I have encountered a situation where in GDG's are tried to be checked in begining of job.
Any inputs are highly appreciated.
Thank you !!! |

In order to ensure the integrity of relative generations, the GDG base is enqueued as the job is scanned by the internal reader and placed into the JES queue for execution. I believe that it stays enqueued until the job reaches EOJ. |

And the reference to a new GDG instance should be +1 throughout the job. Use with precaution if you have to rerun the job, or part of it. |
