Well, there aren't any advantages, because (AFAIK) it can't be done. You can define a single program to multiple transactions, but not vice-versa.
If you had a single transaction defined to multiple programs (in other words, let's say three RDO/PCT entries), when this single transaction is invoked, how would it know which program to invoke
If there is some sneaky (a/k/a undocumented) way of doing this, I wouldn't be an advocate as this type of cleverness will catch up with you eventually.
KISS (acronym) along with documented methods, are the rule....
