FINDREP statements

What would be the difference between WHEN=INIT, WHEN=NONE, WHEN=GROUP, WHEN=ANY and HIT=NEXT?

I would like to know individual importance of those statements.

escapa gave a good link, but would suggest going to the bottom of the linked page and then scroll up 9 screens.
