hi raju,

Using the file-aid we can copy the VSAM file, get into file-aid , and select 3.3,

---> give the input file

---> give the output file

----> press enter , it will copy ur vsam file, and you have to specify the memory space as well

correct me if am wrong

thanks,

Hi Raju,

There in One post....Well, Try to make them separate from next time or just enlist all your doubts in one POST.

Quote:

and what is job lib? wher it specifies.

STEPLIB is a PDS containing members ( load modules of the program), which can be executed by you submitting the job.

If you are specifying STEPLIB, that is just for that step.

PROCLIB is a predefined library, containing all the procs you call in your job.

JOBLIB is more or less same as STEPLIB except valid for whole job.

HMIGRATE & HRECALL respectively....

Regards,

Priyesh.
