Hello
I have a problem where I have batch programs on two different CICs regions sending 500,000 messages each (total 1M+) to my DB2 row creator program running on another CICS region.
The Q between is MQ and is setup with Priority, the default is 5 and the batch messages are setup with this(or setup with -1 in the pgm), but I also have online messages being sent to the Q with priority of 9.
But on some days(once every week) we are seeing the Rows for the online transactions being created a few hours later when the 1 million other transactions have been processed does anyone know if MQ has a Q limit.
I don't have alot of knowledge on MQ so any help would be great.
Thanks allan |

Sorrry for the vvvvv late reply but the program was using data from a third party program that was not being populated as designed a new solution using different data was coded.
Works perfectly now with priorities from 1 to 9. |
