I have a Stored Procedure invoked by Java and has gone into infinite loop. And continuously displaying millions of lines in the WLM log sysout.

I cannot purge the WLM job.

I tried to Stop the SP but the log size has kept on increasing.

Please advise.

Contact your site support group for help. They should have been your FIRST reference, not us.

or your DBA can purge that, are you a DBA? Have you contacted them or your site support group, as Robert has said. It happened to me couple of times and they were my savers.

Yes, i contacted the DBA. The problem is solved now.

I was trying to figure out if there was any other way to stop that running of SP. Because, I had stopped the SP but it still seemed to be running printing millions of lines.

Hello,

If the SP was stopped, what was printing the additional lines?

This line is somewhat not clear to me. How do you stop the SP, what exactly you did - do you kill the thread executing SP under WLM?
