your basic question displays such a low level of understanding of db2,
it is unfortunately difficult to decide where to start explaining,
fearing that every post will elicit yet another question from you,
asking for clarification of the previous.

Suggest you spend the weekend going thru a few manuals,
hyperlinks are at the top of the page,
and learn something about the basics of db2.

within the db2 forum, there are many thread on the topics.

suggest you start with this: ibmmainframes.com/viewtopic.php?t=44076&highlight=packages
and also refer to the links within that thread.

I suggest you give following letter to your manager :

Quote:
Dear Sir,
Please don't let me touch any program involving DB2. I lack the necessary basic knowledge to let me near a computer.

Until then these are the alternatives on which you can decide :
- promote me to be a manager or analist
- send me to a course in which the basic concepts of db2 are explained.
(I hear GuyC asks a reasonable price to give this course)

Sincerely

[insert your name here]

Gokulkrishna,

First thing, table is not in a package.

How do you access table1 and table2 in SPUFI ?
And are both the tables are in different database or in the same database ?

Sushanth
