What is LPAR or Logical Partitions? how the tape/dasd is partitioned and How many LPAR are there? icon_biggrin.gif

An LPAR is a logical partition. In effect a part of the whole CPU hardware, but logically a CPU in its own right.

As for the other questions, they will be site specific so you will need to ask your support people.
