JCL to rename the datasets

I have to rename the datasets replacing perticular string. I want to change that particular string and replace with another string in all datasets names. Can anyone help me to write a jcl for the same.

With the extremely limited information that you have given - probably not.

As for the JCL - go and read all about the ALTER function of IDCAMS.

IDCAMS ALTER or TSO RENAME. Either one ought to work for you.
