Hello and welcome to the forum,

We're probably not the best place to "learn" Datacom (as this is fairly low volume traffic here), but some of us have considerable experience. For example, i've been a Datacom DBA and IDEAL administrator since 1984. . .

If you have questions or some requirement, someone here may have an answer or a suggestion.

If you are completely new to Datacom, suggest you call CA and ask if there is a curretly scheduled class (once upon a time, they had some very good classes) or there is some training company they would recommend.
