dear experts,
Sometime back I got chance to monitor the nightly production batch process.I saw some handfull of jobs waiting becasue of resource cnotentions. They were files contentions basically.I am wondering if there could be a SMF record type using which I can actually generate a good report for all those contentiones and will further if any job scheduling change can address them. |

If you're running RMF, SMF record types 77 and 79 capture enqueue data -- I haven't looked much at them since we're not running RMF. |
