Anyone know how to code wildcards in a GRW variable? |

It is not clear what you are asking -- could you explain more, please? |

In the GRW "language" I am trying to select all datasets that start with TEC. I would want to have names like TECH.* or TECH1.* or TEC.* be selected. What I do not know is all the the possible TEC* variations.
I was wondering if there is a way to use wildcards in GRW to select all possible variations. |

Hello,
In addition to GRW, you should also have CA-EARL available. With EARL you can do what you want with a redefinition and a compare. |

Thanks for the reply. I am aware of EARL, but I am working with an existing GRW program that I would rather not port over to EARL. I have one technique that is working for selecting dataset, but it depends on knowing all the variations. I will keep looking at the possibility of wildcards in GRW (or something) for a bit. |
