I need to display a help panel ... from the main panel...
While displaying....
I got the below error...
ISPP121
, ,
Panel 'VSAMHLP1' error ,
Panel definition too large, greater than screen size.
Panel line where error was detected:
+ % FROM 1 TO CISZ
From this line, the remaining lines were not listed....
Can some one help me what should be done for displaying the data greater than the panel size and scrolling the data in the help panel
On the main panel , I invoked the Help panel as
)INIT
.HELP = VSAMHLP1
On the Help panel. i have coded
)INIT
&AMT = PAGE |

not worth the effort...
faster to redesign the help system
to make it supported with no tweaks on a standard 80X24
after all help panel navigation does not need any programming apart the top help panel invocation
so easier, faster, more reliable to stick to the standards
just lurk into the IBM help panels ( for any application ) to get the idea of a sound approach |

Did you use an ISPF Edit Model for Help Panels as a template? Last I remember Help Panels automatically scroll without any special programming. |
