Hi All,
Could you help me run my first CICS program in Micro Focus Mainframe Express? This is my first time to use the MFE tool and my first time to implement CICS programs. |

Have you uploaded the program to the mainframe to execute or are you trying to run on your pc? |

Hi,
thanks for the immediate response.
I am running the program on my PC without connection to mainframe. |

Then i suspect that your best way to get this info will be from MicroFocus support. There are a few posters here that have tried Mainframe Express, but not many.
We are primarily a mainframe forum. |

Hi,
For running a CICS or a COBOL program u have the compile option there which is F9 and after compiling u can run the job its just a user friendly environment even u go to the help topics for clear idea.
If I am not clear then reply the exact query.I will try to answer.
