1.Can REDEFINES clause used in file section?

2.please explain the following?

OUTREC FIELDS=(1,5,PD, EDIT (STTTTT.TT), SIGNS (,-,,)
Here it is to convert pd to zd [s9(5)v99 comp To s9(5).99]

Here what is TTTTT.TT AND SIGNS (,-,,)

3. 90 rec is there in a file but I want to write first 26 rec and last 10 rec from the file using sort ?

1)u can use redefines in the file section but u cannot use it to redefine the items at the 01 level.

3) outrec fields=(1,26,80,10)
