is there any reason why sysin dd * not coded in catalog procedures? |

but i see that sysin dd dummy and sysin dd dsn is accepted. |

Keep in mind that the ddname does not matter - this is not about "sysin". . . It could be any ddname and dd * (instream data) is still invalid in a PROCedure. |

Keep in mind that instream data identified by //anyddname DD DATA is also invalid in a PROCdure. |
