I must be really dim, but I can't work out how to do this - the local bit is easy - mput pdsname(*) but whatever I put for the local file is ignored and it tries to store pdsname(whatever) without a path.
Why is this?

EZA1460I Command:
EZA1736I MPUT REXX.EXEC(*) +
EZA1736I //UC_SERV1/UCLAN/GEMENSAM/UC_SLASK/
EZA2329I No files match the pattern //UC_SERV1/UCLAN/GEMENSAM/UC_SLASK/
EZA1701I >>> PORT 172,18,1,1,85,0
200 PORT Command OK
EZA1701I >>> STOR REXX.EXEC(Ã…INDEX)
550 Access Denied
EZA1735I Std Return Code = 24550, Error Code = 00002
EZA1701I >>> QUIT
221 Closing Session

The ONLY parameter allowed for an MPUT is the local filename (in this case your PDS):

MPut subcommand--Copy multiple data sets to the remote host.

You must issue the CD FTP command to navigate to the correct directory before doing the MPUT. MGET and MPUT always work with the current server directory, whichever your FTP job is pointing to. You may want to use the LCD command for your local PDS name as well.
