Is there any difference between start and start attach in CICS.

So you see two different commands in the CICS Language Reference manual, and you believe they are the same? Exactly why would you have such a deluded concept? If you read the descriptions of the commands in the manual (link at the top of the page), you will rapidly see the differences in them.
