Hi,
we have few jobs in our system which are dataset trigger i.e when they receive datset job is triggered. sometimes what happens is dataset is loaded into our system and job gets trigerred and is send to queue for processsing. But due to some reason user who sends the file finds something wrong and they remove those files from our system. what it means is that now at this moment there is no dataset and the job which is in our process queue now will not find dataset and will fail. I want to check its existance for i/p file and if it is not present we can do further processing for subsequent steps. The files sent dynamically.
E.g
Job is F9343PA0 and i/p file for this is
B9331.FTP.PS5106.BHM.U.D031710.T1001
Node D031710.T1001 are dynamic in nature

Discussed many times. Have you tried the Search facility here? |

LISTCAT LEVEL will work as long as you don't try to get down to the dynamic part of the file name. This is assuming, of course, that you've got one job with the LISTCAT to be analyzed and you're submitting from that job the actual job to do the work -- since you cannot do this all in one job. |
