Noempty :-
Specifies that only the oldest generation data set is to be uncataloged when the maximum is reached.

Noscratch :-
Specifies that the generation data set's DSCB is not to be removed from the volume's VTOC when the generation data set is uncataloged.

so if you read this you can say that if you will create the 6th generation dataset the old one will be uncatalog and new will get created.

question : -when ever you open generations in 3.4 option wat can u see in right side??

As GDS are like as sequential dataset you will see all the parameters as same u see for the sequential one(may depend on the model).

I hope it may help you...

Sixth Generation will be created. When you go to 3.4, you can see all the 5 generation(Except the first generation)

Say ur GDG name is TEST.GDG

You willsee the following generations in 3.4

TEST.GDG.G0002V00
TEST.GDG.G0003V00
TEST.GDG.G0004V00
TEST.GDG.G0005V00
TEST.GDG.G0006V00
