Why is this posted in the IMS part of the forum? Datacom (if you mean the database software) is a Computer Associates product 
What is "snippet code"?
From the non-information posted, no one can help. If you post something useful, someone may have a suggestion.
Why do you believe something needs improvement? Compared to what?
