I have a file with LRECL 200 FB,CRO-DCK-STS-CD (2bytes) from the position 72 - 73,UPD-DM (timestamp) from 78 - 103.
I need a sort card using sort utility based on the below condition.
CRO-DCK-STS-CD = 8 , select regardless of date.
CRO-DCK-STS-CD = 5, select when UPD-DM > CURRENT DATE – 60 DAYS
CRO-DCK-STS-CD = 6 and 7, select when UPD-DM > CURRENT DATE – 7 DAYS
CRO-DCK-STS-CD = 1,2,3,4, select when UPD-DM > CURRENT DATE – 365 DAYS
help me out in thsi issue. |

Please post what you have tried so far and show us where you are having problems.
Take a look at using the AND / OR parameters.
Which release of SYNCSORT are you using as any solution may vary with the release level being used.

Do you mean 6 or 7 here |

Expat is correct. This can be accomplished using an INCLUDE COND with multiple AND/OR conditions. However, in order for us to better assist you, please provide us with sample records showing the timestamp field so that we can see the actual format. Thank you. |
