hi i am using comp-3(for null indicator) variable as a one of the pearameter in stored procedure.

inside the program i am doing certain logic based on the input perameter.

when i try to execute my procedure its getting abended (-430 sqlcode) if i not passed any value.

my question is what will be the intial value of the comp-3 variable at the time of allocation.

why the stored procedure giving -430?
