What is the default expiry data for a TAPE dataset if we dont mention 'LABEL=EXPDT=' in the JCL

| Wholly site-specific; in many shops, it will never expire, but in mine it will expire at midnight. Your shop may implement either or neither policy. |

| Depends on the Tape Management System you're running. CA1 for example allows a default to be set in it's parmlib. Talk to your Storage mob. |
