Requirement:
get the input file from previous job and sort the file in desending order, take one filed paret in the file and search in the idms database if matches found then do a serach in some other records the finaly write a outpout file,I am new to idms please help me out How to read the input file one by one and further searches,if you have any sample program like please send to me....

What does this mean?
Would you be able to do what is needed if the "database" was a vsam file? If yes, the idms solution would be basically the same. There is (or at least was) sample idms code in the documentation.
If your organization is licensed to use idms, all of the material is available for free from CA Support. |

What was the logic you tried to achieve this ???
