I want to know wether all tapes ranges which exists in CA1 ,also exists in ISMF ATL library??
OR all tapes that exists in ISMF ATL lib also exists in Ca1??
Is it possible that some tape ranges that are defined in ISMF ATl lib are not defined in CA1 ?? |

If the tape is outside of the control of the TMS, then the TMS will not record the information that you want.
As for obtaining that information - you may have to print the label off to get some information. Not sure what is on there, but certainly nowhere near as much as the TMS retains.
Just because a tape is not defined to CA-1 does not mean that it can not live in a tape library. |

most probably because nobody cared to notify CA1 about it' s existence
review with Your support the jcl being used, if You just need a very scratch tape do not use any VOLSER and the TMS will take care of everything!
if on the other side You have the business need to write to a specific VOLSER
speak to Your support on how to achieve it!
there are ways, depending on the TMS being used, to write/read to/from tapes out of the TMS control |

Your site support group can get CA-1 to synchronize with the tape library, reconciling such issues. |

When look in the documentation, consider "foreign". |
