I am aware about the methods where a JCL can communicate to a System or to the Operaor. Here I have few confucions and I request your advice on that.
JES2 JCL can give instructions to the System through the Command
Couldyou please help me with the use of this and an exampe where we use this in a JCL?
Also JCL can communicate to the Operator by

Is Operator is someone who exactly submits the JCL t the Sytem, Please help me with the use of this with an example.

Your awareness is incorrect.

Maybe or maybe not. This would depend on thew specifics of your site. Some operators submit somejobs, some do not. I have no idea how to show an example. . .
Suggest you talk with the Computer Operations and/or the Scheduling people to learn how this is done on ypur system.
On well-managed systems develpers are not permitted to "message" the operator. This makes too much clutter on the console. |
