Hi,
do anyone know if I can use command 'prefix' in SDSF for multiple items?
e.g. If I want prefix CICS* and DB2* in DA panel. |

... I hoped there's a way...
Anyway, I also discovered command 'select'. Could you please tell me what is the difference between 'prefix' and 'select'...? And I have to say I'm new with mainframe so my questions might sound a bit stupid for you... |

Well, since PREFIX is used for filtering by JOBNAME, you can use the FILTER menu. When you use FILTER from the menu, the filter screen is displayed, offering 25 input fields that allow for the combination you are looking for.

The SELECT command is in effect for only the current screen while PREFIX stays in effect until you change it. |
