Hi,
I have a PS file with 10 records. I want skip only 4th record and copy all records. How to do it ? Will SKIPREC and STOPAFT work in this case. Please don't suggest OMIT COND because I don't know what is the data present in records.
Thanks,
Sandip Walsinge

please think about it...
since You are dealing only with the relative position within the dataset
the record content is completely irrelevant !
anyway what did You find by searching the forums with for example SORT SKIPREC and checking the option to search for all the keywords ?? |

Pune,
Here's a DFSORT/ICETOOL job that will do what you asked for:
Code: |
//S1 EXEC PGM=ICETOOL
//TOOLMSG DD SYSOUT=*
//DFSMSG DD SYSOUT=*
//IN DD DSN=... input file
//OUT DD DSN=... output file
//TOOLIN DD *
SUBSET FROM(IN) TO(OUT) REMOVE INPUT RRN(4)
