When i type CEDA VIEW TERM, the following is obtained

I got to know the terminal by displaying it in the program using EIBTRMID

I'm surprised that your site allows programmers to access CEDA. icon_eek.gif

It would be better if you contacted one of your Tech Support folks directly for this information.

What characteristics do you need?

An ASSIGN TERMCODE will return a 01-byte value, most likely a "j2" (LU TYPE2).

An INQUIRE TERMINAL will also return this and other information.

If you are using a terminal emulation program it could be that that is where extended attributes are turned off.
