Hi,
I wanted to know in which group my terminal belong to?I need to check this because i want to know the Terminal Characterisitics!
Now, to which group deos it belong to how can i know?
When i type CEDA VIEW TERM, the following is obtained
VIEW TERM
OBJECT CHARACTERISTICS
CEDA View TErminal( )
TErminal ==>
Group ==>
Terminal - XXXX
Group -- ???
I got to know the terminal by displaying it in the program using EIBTRMID

I'm surprised that your site allows programmers to access CEDA.
It would be better if you contacted one of your Tech Support folks directly for this information.
What characteristics do you need?
An ASSIGN TERMCODE will return a 01-byte value, most likely a "j2" (LU TYPE2).
An INQUIRE TERMINAL will also return this and other information.

Hi Bill,
I want to know the TYPETERM of the terminal, because i wish to see Copy, Color and Highlite options how they were defined on this terminal(i belive they were turnd off), as a result Extended Attributes (color, hilite) are not working.

If you are using a terminal emulation program it could be that that is where extended attributes are turned off. |
