Hello everybody!

I need to learn about query tuning, please guide me to learn it,
is there any manual for it?

Would appreciate if someone can give me some SQL examples of Query
tuning.

Not that i'm aware of.

Tuning a query is much like tuning anything else. Determnine where the resources are being used and reduce this where possible. Sometimes this requires a complete redesign of the query or process as well as database modifications.

Suggest you talk with your dba to learn what is available for you to use to research. There is always EXPLAIN.
