Is it possible to convert a PDF to a mainframe file (say PS)?
In my project, my client will put a PDF file in a lan which needs to be pulled as a mainframe file to be processed in our job. |

Google is your friend. Search for pdf format and start reading. It'll probably take a few hundred hours of work to decipher the format and extract the test strings but it probably can be done. |

You are the consultant, not us
anyway the answer is Yes; copy. convert has no meaning here
what You want to do after the PDF has been transferred to a PS on the mainframe is a different can of worms |

nithivenkat,
there are only about 1 gazillion Free PDF to text converters and many, many
not-for-free.
good chance there is already something in-house that will accomplish the task. but, that means you have to ask someone in your organization and not someone in an internet forum.
to save you some time, you need to convert the PDF on the lan to a text file,
annotated so that the file is usable by a mainframe program, then upload the text and then process. |
