Hi all,
When we reorganize a table then do we need to rebind the code that uses the table.
Please explain/list all the factors for which we need to rebind the code.
Thanks, |

Hi,
After reorganizing your table space or index space it is better to run runstat utility to gather statistics and after that it is better to run REBIND on your plans and packages using the table.
To give the DB2 optimizer chance of choosing better access path to access the data you rebind after runstat.
Thanks
