Hi all,

Am generating an email with IEBGENER utility; In the email am getting an
value like
"Date: Mon, 21 Dec 09 09:41:10 -0500 "

which am not populating in my email configuration file,

It will be of great help if some one can explain me from where this is getting populated, and how to stop that and what it means( i mean the "-0500" part)

Thanks!!

Google is your friend. Google rfc2822 and read up on the SMTP message format. The standard for date fields is day of week, day month year time timezone -- so -0500 is Eastern Standard Time timezone.
