PL/I program abends time to time (S0C4) after PDS to PDSE load library conversion.
When the S0C4 occurs, the program and transaction are restarted by IMS. Normally this is fine, the system is still available. Twice though (April & October) when S0C4’s occurred during a short time frame (less than a minute or so) the program and transaction are restarted by IMS, however, the system cannot be accessed until an LLA Refresh is done. |

And does this abend occur after the PDSE has been updated ?
And did any updates cause the PDSE to extend. |

No, there is no apparent relationship, the load modules remains the same, but sometimes the main program fails for bad addressing when the subprogram is fetched
And did any updates cause the PDSE to extend.
I think no.
Main program and subprogram are PL/I V2 and all the objects are MIN/ANY or 31/ANY A/R mode
