Hello all.. at first I would like to say I have just joined this forum recently and this is my first topic. I always try to solve the problem by my own but for this time I need little help.
Problem is that my Netview with SA and OPC don't capture IEF450I messages. For first I thought this is the error of SA and its message table but now I know it is going kinda deeper.
The IEF404I and any other messages are captured normally. Where can I set this to keep coming and trapped by SA and OPC?

How is that message defined in the message table. Is it only defined there
or also in the policy database?
Or the by IBM supplied message tables which are normally processed first
by SA catch the message first, so your message table is not reached.
Maybe the message is defined in the MPFLSTxx in SYS1.PARMLIB to be suppressed or not defined at all.

Last but not least : is your message table activated?

Thanks for reply.. you were right.. The IEF450I was suppressed in MPFLSTxx (I didn't have experience with this member - I thought it is not used because was not specified in IEASYSxx .. then I realized it is in CONSOLxx).
After that the SA is working OK but the OPC is still not working as is supposed to.
Damn!! I thought that was it. I spent a week to tune the exits for OPC - it can catch everything... JCL, JCLI errors, numeric error codes and normal termination. But if you cancel job when it runs the OPC is still signalizing the job is started and nothing changed.

MPFLSTxx is the place where message processing starts, so any message that is to be automated should be there.

Good luck.
