Hello everybody,
I need to execute a TASK (as SDSF ejem. /S MYTASK) from REXX, but I can't to use ADDRESS CONSOLE. Maybe you know other way for this. Please if you can Help me, I can't to continue with my task automatization and I am very concerned.

we are much more concerned about people reinventing the wheel
by writing RYO automation <things> when proper scheduling/automation products are available
the most common advice You might get here is...
talk to Your operations support group in order to understand the capabilities of Your automation/scheduling products !
we are not much inclined to spend time reinventing the wheel

Thanks Enrico,
I'm not reinventing the wheel, we have NETVIEW tool for our automation and scheduling task, but is not complete solution and I have to make sure about certain task and i want to solve this. I'm reading the redbook. |

Why not?
If it is a matter of permissions and the existing tools cannot provide what is needed possibly management will approve a request that you/your group be able to do this.
What do you need to accomplish? If we knew more about the requirement, someone might have an alternative suggestion. |
