Is there any way of knowing the (approximate) size of an un-AMATERSE'd dataset. I've got datasets that compress to 2.5% of the original, but also ones that only compress to 25% and willy-nilly allocating an output dataset that is 40 times the size of the input dataset is a bit silly for large input datasets...

Any suggestions are appreciated icon_smile.gif

Hello,

Maybe use a modest primary, a larger secondary, and RLSE?
