NULLS in DB2 tables

Hi All,

1)Can anyone explain null indicator in DB2.

The column of the table is defined to DB2 as character and allowing NULL.

Can anyone tell me how to insert the NULL value in the DB2 table for some records through COBOL-DB2 program.
