split a file having multiple record types on same row

I have a requirement where the FB file has to be split into detailed record and header record.

Both DR(detailed record) and HR(Header record) can be on the same row in the FB file.
The record length parameter at the beginning of each of the record types indicates the length of the DR or HR record.

I need to split these and put the records one below the other.

Hello and welcome to the forum,

You need to post some sample input and the output you want when that input is processed. You need to mention what are the relevant data positions as well as the recfm and lrecl of the input and output files.
