Hi,

We are looking for any tool or utility to migrate Easytrieve to COBOL. If anybody has any details about this, then please let me know.

Hello,

Suggest you search the web for "easytrieve to cobol". . . There are multiple places that advertise tools or services to do this.

My experience with these (and other conversions/migrations as well) is that the product/service does the trivial conversions quite well, but the complicated/convoluted processes are not handled so well - and maybe not at all. Even if the generated replacement source works, it is typically not maintenance-friendly.

Another consideration is how Easytrieve is being used. Suggest a careful review of the code to be converted/migrated be done. It is tempting to reach for some "magic bullet", but often it is money wasted.
